CSC Inventory

The CSC Inventory is the core of Chicago Sonic Commons. 

It is a list of ‘non-owned’ mics, speakers, mixers, and other sonic tools in circulation among Chicagoans. The CSC Inventory is the primary tool you will use to request, exchange, or browse resources. It is a spreadsheet with links to everything you need to get connected with equipment.

Use the CSC Inventory to find:

• Equipment availability

• Request Forms

• Exchange Forms

• Equipment Info Pages (click on the equipment name in column B)

Tips for Navigating the CSC Inventory

1. Looking for specific equipment and don't want to scroll through the whole inventory? 

If using a computer, press control+F (command+F on Mac) to search!

If using a mobile device, click the three dots at the top right corner of the Google Sheet, and click 'Find' or 'Find and Replace'

Using the Find function will open a search bar you can use to search the spreadsheet for the equipment you're looking for. You can search something specific such as "Shure SM58" or search for a category of equipment such as "Mic."

2. If using a mobile device, download the Google Sheets app for easier spreadsheet navigation!

3. Want detailed info on a piece of equipment?

Click on the equipment name to visit its info page!

By clicking on the name of a piece of equipment in column B of the CSC Inventory, you will be redirected to an info page that contains more in depth details about the equipment than is listed in the CSC Inventory spreadsheet.
